How many cars have you owned?

In nearly 30 years behind the wheel I have had only 9 cars, and number 9 is due for a change when I get round to it, best and worse would be the same, the Triumph Stag, cost a small fortune to maintain but when running well was a superb car, just not reliable enough, the Camry would be second best, boring in some ways but drives well and got a nice stereo as standard.
The Golf and the Saab were great to drive, the Allegro was a shit box but I did a fair bit of shagging in the back so have fond memories of it

On my 9th car in just over 9 years of driving. All either a Fiesta or Focus.
Favourite was the Focus ST but I basically couldn't afford it so had to shift it after 6 months.
I have a Fiesta Zetec S 'Red' Edition now which is fun to drive.

3 in 6 years.
Mk4 Fiesta Encore (Which you had to enter via the boot)
Mk6 Fiesta Zetec (Which would clap out every other month and need new core plugs)
Mk3 Renault Clio (Electrics. Enough said)
About as blessed with cars as that Bugatti kid out of Undateables.

5 in 24 years.
Drove the first 4 to their deaths via old age.
First 3 didn't have a chance due to all the driving round Britain following the hammers.

To be fair, I didn't own that one, or the Metro. They were cars provided by my company via a dodgy car hire company.
I had to go there some months after the astra they supplied nearly killed me on the a13 as the brakes only worked on one side and I did a 180 as i pulled up to goresbrook lights.
When I got to the address in rainham, the hire company was in a shed within the compound of a car-breakers yard.

2. Vauxhall Corsa SXi which I bought instead of spending the money on a honeymoon, and a Renault Clio Compass (current car) which my brother gave me, he brought it up here from Hornchurch and it was the last time I saw him.
